Descriptor Matching and Epipolar Geometry
The unknown amount in this chapter is not a three-dimensional coordinates, but "what image is observed to the same physical markers." The first fraction zero is not naturally related to the second fraction zero, because the sequence of the scans will be altered by project location and shielding. We will first use a unicoded description to present our candidacy and then use the camera to geometry to reject an impossible candidate. Identity judgement and position estimation are recorded in layers, otherwise a number given by triangularization can easily be mistakenly matched to proof.
Left charts have n descriptions, right maps have m, all three-dimensional colour vectors. Distance matrices are two vectors of E. All boxes need to be n multiplied by m subwidths and stored accordingly. Small tag scenes are sufficient; large image retrievals can be replaced with adjacent indexes, but close searches may miss the true nearest entry, leaving a measurable precision boundary to be preserved. The unit vector distance square is equal to two-fold less than volume, so the order of distance is fully consistent with the cosine resemblance.
There are three sub-conditions for screening. The nearest distance must be less than a fixed ceiling; the nearest distance is smaller than the second proximity multiplier threshold, requiring that the best candidate has sufficient advantages; and the last left or right is the closest to each other, limiting multiple crowds to one right point at the same time. The project cap of zero-eight and the value of zero-eight are fixed in advance. If the recent and second nearest values are zero, there is no strict difference in value, the ambiguity is rejected. This is more appropriate to the message than turning zero into an arbitrary number, but it may also reject the exact correspondence of colours that do repeat.
Example 1: Mutual Nearest Neighbors Do Not Replace an Ambiguity Test
Assuming that a left-hand description of two points in the right figure is zero point 01 and zero point 02, zero point one is less than zero eight times zero-two, the advantage screen is passed; if the right point is the closest and below the upper limit, the candidate is accepted. The left point is zero point 119 and zero point 02, the value of which is zero ninety-five, and although the absolute distance is very small, the ability to distinguish should be rejected. If the two candidates are identical, the distance is zero, and the right numbering should be rejected instead of the smaller numbering.
These rules can reduce partial ambiguity, but they cannot prevent mismatching. When two different beads have the same or very close colours, and the true correspondence is blocked, the remaining fault points may be the only winner. Recent convergences between existing candidates are not proof of real identity.
An image point defines in the world a line that passes through the center of the camera. Any three-dimensional point on the ray falls together with the centre of the second camera, and this plane intersects with the level of the second image into a pole line. The correct match must be located in this line. If the centre of the two cameras is just like a pure rotation, the rays no longer provide the usual bi-directional depth; even if pixel mapping can be created, it cannot be considered as a visual triangle.
This relationship is expressed in a symmetrical algebra. The left camera matrix P, the central vector of C, is a zero-spaced one; the second image is the polar point e is P, which is two times C I. Left pixels x one, false P plus one, which is a representative point on one ray x; then the right image gets q II. The right pole line passes e-II and q-II, so the single subdirector is both forks. Fork times can be written into three times three counter-title arrays multiplied by vector, thus obtaining the base matrix F.
Pseudo-reverse is imported as a numerical tool, which gives a minimum paradigm representative; any multiples along the center of the left camera do not change the left projection. The projection to the right only alters the polar direction fractions and removes the difference from the arc fork, so that the same pole line does not rely on specific rays. F also allows for the overall ratio, with the item being assigned to one matrix. It is double under general non-zero baseline conditions; the base matrix is a pixel coordinate object that already contains internal references and does not mix with the essence matrix that acts solely as a single-coordinated coordinate.
A u plus b v plus c is equal to zero. To convert algebra residue into a right imager distance, the absolute value of the point after which it is inserted is divided by root a square plus b square. This one-way distance is not a full symmetrical geometry projection error, but there are clear pixel units that are suitable for presifting. If the first two lines are close to zero, the denominator is degraded and must be misdirected or replaced; such a special position cannot be declared by an arbitrary mass defect.
Example 2: Parallel Stereo as a Special Case of Epipolar Geometry
The two cameras have the same attitude, horizontal baseline, and have the same interiors and no malformations. The corresponding points are singled out to the same vertical coordinates, so the right polar line level is the same; if the line is zero, one, negative 20, the range of the right vertical coordinate 23 is three pixels, not the cross-coordinate. The lateral correction of 10 pixels may still be on the same pole line. This means that the polar limit is necessary rather than sufficient: it reduces the two-dimensional candidate space to one dimension, but it does not tell you which position is the real object.
The right camera is now rotated, the poles are generally tilted or condensed, and the coordinates are equal. The P construction of F, as estimated by the actual rotation camera, is close to the detection error level for the correct marking of the polar line; the residue is significantly increased by artificial deflection to another line. The true triangulation is followed by a positive depth and a heavy pixel projection. Some errors should satisfy both the polar line and the straight depth, so that the three examination superpositions are not sufficient proof of identity, and the description of the trajectory must be retained.
Multi-view tracks link multiple images of the same object to one another, and cannot just pair the adjacent view without checking the loop. If you return to another point from the left to the centre, right and right, at least one of the corresponding inconsistencies is indicated. Small projects automatically recreated with the first two training charts, and the third provides independent photo-compatibility constraints; this is not a complete multi-view trajectory optimization.
Rudd estimates that RANSAC is commonly used: a minimum sample estimation model, counting the inside of the threshold, and re-evaluated with the inside. It fits the assumption that "some of the error matches, the rest share the same geometry" does not guarantee recovery from all of the ambiguity or all of the error data. The current project camera is marked by a dedicated target, so the matching phase is directly screened by fixed geometry and does not run RANSAC for the camera. If an unknown camera is added at a later stage, it needs to record the probability of sampling seeds, thresholds, iterative budgets and failure, rather than just preserving a best model.
The error should be exposed by reproducing the experiment. After normal reconstruction, the project constructs a twelve different sets of faults to preserve the reasons why they were rejected by the positive depth or heavy projection threshold; these candidates never enter the normal dot cloud. Measuring the whole set is simply an indication that the negative match has been detected, and it cannot be claimed that all errors will fail. Another test is dedicated to repeating colours, requiring description of sub-layers to reject ambiguity.
Blocking and repeating textures also produce correct but uncertain observations. If not matched, the program should reduce output or rejection, rather than copy the latest count of twelve. The corresponding record should at least preserve the original file, local area number, colour distance, polar distance and subsequent heavy projection residue; and facilitate the reviewer ' s return to the image along the results. ID The three-dimensional real value number of the generator should be separated, otherwise it may be possible to bypass the true matching task from the pre-provided list even if the coordinates are not read directly.
