Gaussian Photometry and Differentiable Fitting

The previous chapters have obtained the general camera and the unknown three-dimensional centre of pearls from the actual PNG. This chapter adds the real learning parameters. Each bead has three positions, three colour strengths and one radius, seven; all eighty-four are trained. Cameras are fixed by independent target estimates and are not used as learning parameters. There is no pre-training model, external weight or only a shortcut for final output. Losses range from actual training images to retransmission of nuclear to each set of parameters.

Positions are fixed by a direct parameter of the metre, and radius is indexed by a real number of rho to ensure that any limited rho corresponds to the positive value; three colour intensity vectors a via sigmoid, which is limited to zero and one. The color is not a unicoded description, which is used only for matching, but not as a direct light band value. Initialization converts the description by a fixed 0.5 to an initial colour and then takes logit. The radius starts at zero and seven-five metres, with a three-dimensional centre with a seed 17-high height on the triangulation result, which is a standard deviation of zero and thirty-five metres, as an open optimistic control.

ri=eρi,ci=sigmoid⁡(ai),gi(p)=exp⁡ ⁣[−∥p−μi∥22si2],si=fri/Zir_i=e^{\rho_i},\quad c_i=\operatorname{sigmoid}(a_i),\quad g_i(p)=\exp\!\left[-\frac{\|p-\mu_i\|^2}{2s_i^2}\right],\quad s_i=fr_i/Z_i
p is the position of 2-D pixels, mu_i is a 3-D center marked camera projection.

The Gaussian reconciliation centre and the width gradient can be drawn directly. The guide to the inside of the index and then to the core itself: the transverse centre is guided by the transverse by the transverse by the width square, vertically equal; the width by the width by the width by the width square by the distance square. Near zero from the centre, the position gradient may be weak, which explains why initialization of the difference may be difficult to recover. “Whiskey.” Auto equals “Easy to train” 。

∂g∂μu=gpu−μus2,∂g∂s=g∥p−μ∥2s3,∂r∂ρ=r,∂c∂a=c(1−c)\frac{\partial g}{\partial\mu_u}=g\frac{p_u-\mu_u}{s^2},\quad \frac{\partial g}{\partial s}=g\frac{\|p-\mu\|^2}{s^3},\quad \frac{\partial r}{\partial\rho}=r,\quad \frac{\partial c}{\partial a}=c(1-c)
The chain law continues to connect to a 3-D position, logarithmic radius and colour logit.

The effect of the three-dimensional position is two paths: it changes the project centre, and the depth of the screen, so changing the radius. The projection in chapter II is comparable to the first; the lead for the radius is a negative focal distance by the world radius by the depth square. The omission of the latter may keep the centre location updated in a certain direction but is no longer the full gradient of the stated rendering formula. The item uses a stretch to calculate the two paths and uses the float64 centre differential to check the location number of the guide instead of merely asserting the frame “It's automatic, so it's correct.”.

Example 1: The Width Gradient and Scale Direction

A bead is separated from a pixel by two pixels, vertically zero, and the screen width is also two pixels, with a nuclear value of one in two negative parts of the exp, about 00,065. The transverse centre is guided by two by four, about 0.33, and the screen width by four by eight, about 033. The centre moves or increases the width of the pixel by increasing the strength of the pixel, but it works differently in other pixels. The individual pixels cannot reliably distinguish between the two changes, and the whole luminous and multi-sighted are more bound.

If the three-dimensional gap is Sigma, local projectors can be compared. J The difference between the two-dimensional and the two-dimensional. J Sigma J Convert. This is a linear transmission of random little disturbance: shift 3Ds first J, and the external build-up expectations get the formula. The three-dimensional Sigma is a radius square array, which may still have two-dimensional heterogeneity due to the off-axis projection. The current project uses a simplified scale screen width for interpretability, which is not the achievement of this complete spectrum projection, let alone the original 3DGS parameter mechanism.

Σscreen≈JΣ3DJ⊤,L=1∣Vtrain∣∑v∈Vtrain13HW∑u,w,c(Ipred−Iobs)2\Sigma_{screen}\approx J\Sigma_{3D}J^\top,\qquad L=\frac1{|V_{train}|}\sum_{v\in V_{train}}\frac1{3HW}\sum_{u,w,c}(I_{pred}-I_{obs})^2
The first is the approximation of small scale linearity; and the second is the average approach to actual training targets.

Training uses the first three scenes, with an average per angle for RGB square errors and an average per view. Each update handles the same complete set of small maps without random pixels, so the batch trail is fully configured. Adam studies zero zero-six, updates one hundred and eighty times, CPU a thread. Each step is preceded by a gradient, a renderer training perspective, loss, reverse transmission, and updating, evaluating the image not to enter the loss map. The optimiser is a record state, but this project does not provide precise breakpoints to restore CLI.

Example 2: Background Dilution and Actual Training Records

If there are only 360 foreground pixels out of 80 times 96, the outlook is about 4.7%. MSE It's zero one. It's exactly the right background. It's the whole picture. MSE It's about 00:047. It doesn't look small, but it doesn't mean the flash is right. MSE The outlook is 00:0505863535; eventually, the negative five sides of 1:7194 times 10 and the negative five sides of 00:033993, respectively, are kept with both calibres.

The two final maps, MSE with a perspective, are about 1,722 and 1,679 by 10 negative five-point parties, corresponding to PSNR, 4762 and 4775. They do not enter any updates, but use camera parameters provided by an independent target. This indicator is derived from the small, thin, transparent viewing of the model; they cannot be directly compared with the actual 3DGS paper PSNR. The image structure, dynamic range, background scale and evaluation conditions are different.

Geometric evaluations are also independent. A mere comparison of changes in the initial disturbed position to the proposed position does not mean that they are closer to the true value; evaluation documents give a real centre after training has been completed. Triangularization of the original RMS approximately 2:98 mm, or about 1:554 mm later, is proposed. At the same time, undisturbed tripping baselines are maintained, avoiding the only contrast between intentional disturbance and bad start values.

Colours are compensated for width. Two-dimensional Gaussian total energy is directly proportional to the colour-trigger square, and a narrower but brighter core may approach a wider but darker core at a lower resolution. Different angles can change the size of the screen and increase the recognition information, but quantification, overlap and absence may still be ambiguous. The application of physical ranges to parameters or increased high-resolution observations is a new hypothesis and data, and old test reports cannot be inserted quietly after acceptance failure.

A limited differential test selects float64, small rather than zero parameters for disturbance, with targets using asymmetric pixel weights to avoid overall insensitivity to peer transfer. The target difference for more disturbance and less disturbance is two times longer than the anti-transit position gradient. The colour and radius gradient are also examined separately for limited and non-zero margins. The limited difference should not be allowed to pass a small step into an error disposal or to cross a strong non-linear step by a large step; the test is fixed at the same length and uses relative errors rather than just looking in the direction.

Leave the leak test more straightforward: copying the input directory, changing all two reserved scene images to black, using exactly the same camera, start value and training steps, requiring the same number of squared parameters. It verifies that these pixels are not involved in updating, better than “The code comment says it's not working.”. The project actually implemented this counter-verb, and also tested removing the unknown scene real value, which can still be rebuilt. They protect only the boundaries of the corresponding information and do not prove that the camera is marked correctly or that the image model is adequate for the real world.

The failure process is part of the training device. If depth becomes abnormal, the rewriter refuses; if the initial core is far from observation, too narrow or color saturated, the gradient may be insufficient and the result needs to be reported without suppression rather than deletion. The current demonstration selects geometry for initialization and minor disturbance, not randomly discovering all objects from a blank world. Without density control and new bead generation, missing beads cannot automatically be replenished; if it is to be extended to a complete trainer, birth, division, cutting and shielding mechanisms must be designed and tested.

The training error content and the marking deviation do not automatically represent an optimist error when the non-zero loss ultimately occurs. The generator’s accurate camera is rendered and quantified, and is designed to combine the cameras estimated by the pixel tests, so the two are not identical examples of continuing functions. To measure pure optimization, the precise camera may be increased in direct control, but it must be named separately from the main experiment. The main report retains the estimated camera chain so that observed residues contain the actual effects from file to observation to geometry.

TRY IT YOURSELF

Practice I: Logbook of parameters

What are the training parameters for each bead, RGB strength and a radius? How much would one stand-alone opacity for each bead be added to the rest, and why would a new visible formula be needed?

Hint 1
Numbers are based on each bead centre, RGB and radius by item, followed by new parameters.
Hint 2
Opacity may cause redundancy if it is merely coloured; to achieve shielding, the depth order, alpha and transect chains must be defined and one more parameter is not automatically filled.
Compare with the Solution
Three plus one each is equal to seven, twelve plus eighty-four. An additional one for each bead becomes ninety-six and twelve more. New parameters alone do not automatically achieve the order of the opacity layer; it is important to specify how alpha is formed by opacity and nuclear, how it accumulates by depth and how the gradient passes, otherwise it may only create redundancy by multiplying the colour intensity.

Practice II: Radius chain lead numbers

The known radius r=exp(rho), the screen radius s=fr/Z. The number of guides to rho and Z is sought at a focal range of 100, r 006 and depth 4.

Hint 1
The radius depends on rho, and the width of the screen depends on radius and depth, drawing two paths for guidance.
Hint 2
Guides to ds/dr x dr/drho and direct to Z, re-descripts values and inspects units such as pixels/m.
Compare with the Solution
Using a chain-style formula for rho, ds/dr is equal to f/Z and dr/drho is equal to r, so ds/drho is equal to fr/Z, i.e. negative fr/Z squared for depth. The proxy value is a point five pixels, a point one five, a point one five, and a negative zero thirty-five pixels per metre. This width path must be retained if the position is modified; it is an incomplete gradient for central pixel guidance only.

Practice III: Evaluation of leaks

If two maps are set aside to black, the same seed is used to train different parameters. What data streams should be reviewed first? What can be tested and not rolled out?

Hint 1
What options or pre-treatments are available to allow pixels to enter training beyond Loses?
Hint 2
Checks mask, thresholds, early stop, over-participation selection and random calls on a case-by-case basis; the parameters support only the data flow inverted evidence and do not demonstrate an unknown generalization of the position.
Compare with the Solution
Check first whether the loss has passed through the full spectrum of perspectives, whether the map is used to mask or adapt to the threshold, whether the extra parameter is stopped early or selected based on the set score, and whether the data reading changes the random call order. The same parameters only prove that the change does not affect the current training path, that the overall model is neutral or that the camera conditions are independent; and that the stand-alone target still provides a posture.

CHECK YOUR UNDERSTANDING

Check Your Understanding

Answer first, then open the explanation to check your reasoning. These questions help reveal gaps in understanding; independent implementation and transfer require separate evaluation.
